FROM PLANT PERSPECTIVE

From Plant Perspective is an ongoing archival research framework that has emerged from my long-term research with plants, which began in 2013.

​

It considers how observations and materials gathered through fieldwork can be recorded and connected over time: plant species and locations, photographic observations, colour, material traces and notes.

​

Rather than forming a single, defined project, From Plant Perspective functions as a background structure within my practice. It allows relationships between plants, places, material properties, photographic processes and different moments in time to be investigated without necessarily resulting in an individual work or series.

​

The research remains deliberately open-ended. Its form and methods of organisation continue to develop alongside my artistic practice.
